Starting a little late, not feeling too well again. I've got to stop working until 8 or 9 o'clock because I don't really, I don't know, I can't do it anymore, I guess. So I'll have to be finishing up earlier so that I can wake up earlier and not feel like crap. But anyways, I'm on now. I responded to an email that Daphne asked me yesterday about the phone. Today I'm going to add Chris's, you know, Vlad's and Paul's, configure those two things. And then I'm going to look at the mobile phone so try to get that out of the way. And hopefully if I have enough time, set up a configuration policy for the computers so I can automate that.

Updating all, well adding all the users into the PBX forum system.

All right, I've added all the users assigned extensions, created an extension numbering plan. I deleted all the old users, so I'm gonna have to resend the instructions. There's some straggler extensions, 100, 101, or sorry, 10, 101, 20, Greg's 710, 101 used to be from Phil, 104 used to be Luke, 200. So there's a couple like ones that are just here. They are, you know, Jamie, Luke, Greg, Phil, they're all forwarding to other people. So that's not the issue, it's just, I wanna figure out a way to get them out of this view, just to clean everything up, just so it's easier for me to manage because it gets pretty complicated in a PBX system to do this stuff, so. Okay.

Right now I'm going to log into GDMS and YMCS and I'm going to provision all the phones so that they are consistent, have the correct extensions, and show a correct name on the line so that people know what extension they have. I'm also going to print out stickers with all the user extensions. So actually let me do that now because that's going to help me as well while I'm doing this so that I'm not flipping across pages and I have an easy place to reference the extensions.

All right, I've set up all the follow me by default. I should create quick instructions on how to do this, but that's gonna take a couple hours to write up probably. Let me think about this.

I just noticed there's a problem with Daphne's phone, so I'm going to look into it. I think it's because of the way it's connected to the network.

Now it seems I've fixed it.

Check GDMS tomorrow to see if the connection to Daphne's phone is still good or if it entered an abnormal state.

All right. All the emails are sent. I think we should look over the phone tree at some point in time as well, just to make it a little bit easier to use. I think we have too many menu options, and we should create groups that will be associated with the workgroups and shared mailboxes. That's something that I'm going to have to discuss with a couple other people at the company, how best to structure them.

I've cleared out some of the files on the external drive. I have it ready to go back. I'm going to put it in my computer bag so it's ready to go.
