I had a couple of things to do in the morning, mostly actually stuff with T3, not magenta. I'm going to have to switch the timer in a bit. And then dealing with some stuff with Alejandro, I guess the printer in the office wasn't working. Seemed like there was an ongoing WiFi connectivity issue, so we're going to have to hardwire that device in. And Sam wants me to do stuff on her computer, and a couple of account changes that I made in the morning, and Chris is asking me for some stuff as well right now. So I'm just going to go use the washroom and then deal with Chris I guess when I get back.

I had some planning that I was doing as well. I'm gonna have to build a QR router. I started one, but it was too advanced of a scope, so now I'm just going to make a basic one so I can route to different things. At one point in time I'll have to build an MDM router, but we're not ready for that. But for now I need that QR router.

Just got off the phone with Big Steel Box. Alejandro was asking me to look into that to see their portal access. They do not offer portal access right now for contractors, only for residential clients, and our billing terms and the way that we're invoiced would not be compatible with their system. They said it's in their roadmap, but for right now, Big Steel Box does not have a portal login for contractors. All the emails for billing are sent to ap.magentaconstruction.com.

Sam also confirmed that Roof Mart should be going to AP at magentaconstruction.com, not Accounting, and that AP should not be forwarding to Accounting.

I just got off the phone with Sam. I spent about 40 minutes on the phone there. I set up her accounts, so I set up Outlook. She was using the PWA so now she has a full Outlook so she has access to all the shared folders. I also set up the access for her to the dog farm and the dog retreat and then we had a quick talk about some project management stuff. I have to end up making a plan or some questions I'm gonna ask and we'll have a meeting next week to discover what these project management needs are because it seems very straightforward and I don't understand why we need to overcomplicate it but I do want to get kind of discover what they're looking for. I just feel like the staff doesn't know what they're looking for. They're looking for a tool to help them do their job without knowing what to do. We'll have to try to brainstorm and collaborate together so that nobody feels kind of on the spot and create a list of a wish list and then I could apply that in the future to the ERP and in the interim into Teams to make it work.
