I was on the phone with Maha. I guess her phone went through an update and she wasn't getting her emails on her phone. I checked the server IP logs. There were some blocked IPs. I'm not sure what her home IP address was, but I removed those. When she went to the office, I connected remotely to her computer. There was, I guess, another issue on the work computer as well, so there's a second case. When I connected to the computer, I got the IP address of it. I whitelisted it in the server. Maha confirmed that the emails on her phone were working after that point.

10:54AM

The second issue was that she was trying to open up, regardless from her phone or from the desktop, she was trying to open up some Indeed ads to review, and they were saying that she doesn't have permission, so that was the second issue that she had mentioned. So I looked through, it looks like she had two accounts, suite13 at gmail.com and info at suite13 at gmail.com. Info at suite13 at gmail.com, she said she just set up on Tuesday, and in her email it was evident that there was people doing applications for the job, but whenever we would click on them it would say you don't have permission. I tried the link in both suite13 at gmail and info at suite13, both of them said the same thing. Some of them contained a link to the resume underneath, clicking on that seemed to work, so that told me it's most likely not a scam, it's a legitimate thing. The ad posting that they were replying to versus what was posted in Indeed seemed to have different small differences. One said it's in Ottawa, one said Nepean, one was hairstylist with title case, the other one was all lower case, so I wasn't sure if it's the same ad or a different ad.

10:56AM

After being on the phone with the Indie guy for 36 minutes, I think it was, I think I understand what the general problem is. I think the problem was that Maha probably created an account on Tuesday, posted an ad right away, she probably had to verify her email address, but maybe she didn't. The ad kept going, but after a certain amount of time, Indie probably blocked it to prevent spammers from just posting random job postings, obviously they want to have verified accounts, and because of that I feel like the ad got taken offline, or something to that nature. And so in between that time before it got taken offline, there were probably applicants, but since she hadn't verified the account or whatever the issue was, I think that there was a disconnect between them. The ad remains in a pending state right now, waiting for approval, so I guess we'll wait to see if the ad gets approved in three to five hours, and that could be because we just did the email verification and set up two-factor authentication to her cell phone, so it looks like that was kind of like a first step. Additionally, when I was trying to go into account settings, it was showing an error page, no options, until we verified the email. So I think the best course of action is leave it as it is, wait a couple hours, and see if those become available after the ad is verified and posted. That it may just be a default action if the ad is not verified, that they will not show any candidates. If that doesn't go through, Maha will have to reach out to Indeed for further support.

10:56AM

I did add the Indeed account and password to hoodoo for suite 13.
