Magenta Construction
9:03AM - 6:40PM (9 Hours 36 Minutes)
12:37PM
I'm gonna prepare a router. I got one from Justin, the rental property in Temple. The lady needed one, so I'm gonna keep that under the magenta timer because I don't know if I have a different timer for that. I guess I can log in and check, but I'm not sure. But I'm just gonna configure a modem so it's ready to go, and she has to let me know when it's good for me to go there and set that up.

Oops, I just kept recording the whole time.

Well, at 3.01 I was recording non-stop I guess, my bad, I glitched something out.

Anyways, Paul called me, I guess at 2.30 and needed help with his passwords, and so I helped him with that, forgot the passwords for Magenta and USP and he got a new phone and he needed to set them up, etc, etc.

Between that time I was playing with the router for the rental property because the tenant upstairs there, Mary I think, really wanted to be on a separate wireless network from the people in the basements and she was concerned about security and messaged me a while ago and then followed up and I finally got a router from Justin that I had previously sold him before when he was running ORB. The thing is that it was running custom, it was running OpenWRT because we needed to do some more advanced stuff so I put a custom firmware on there and I had to flash it back and I was having issues because there was timeouts but I ended up setting the anticipation window on the TFTP server significantly higher to somewhere around 8,000 bytes and it pretty much forced the download. It was just timing out before the timeout from the router was 5 seconds and so what was happening is it was starting to download the file but TFTP is generally slow so it was downloading pretty slow and it would timeout before finishing the download so it would only go like 60% but setting the anticipation window to 8,000 bytes made it download it significantly quicker, it got done, flashed it, everything seems to work. I just logged in and I used an older version just to see if I didn't break the upgrade capability so I logged in and then I was able to do an upgrade from the web panel so everything works so I'm done with this now.
