Magenta Construction

6:47AM - 7:12PM (12 Hours 24 Minutes)

7:18AM

I'm trying to look into why these delegations keep being removed from the email accounts, but I can't get into the Exchange Admin Center. Looks like it's having the same problem as before. So I'll have to do this a different day.

7:44AM

just updated my notes on what I did yesterday and and yeah, the exchange admin center seems to be loading very very slowly but anyways I'll let this load in the background and I'm going to get back to the ERP planning yeah

7:48AM

I think I'm going to set up a new Bookstack instance.

8:19AM

Alright, head to update EZ Apache. Right now I'm just changing the global php-ini files. I have to install Composer to make this work. I'm going to install it server-wide. So I just edited the four profiles in multiple php-ini manager. I changed while urlf opened on and added detect-unicode off. I'm running them on versions 8. I couldn't find a way to enable far, but far might be enabled by default. So now I'm just ssh-ing into the system. I'm going to run ls to find out what directory I'm in. I'm in root. Okay. Fuck it. I'm going to do wget https.org.installer-o composer-installer.php Alright, now I'm going to do sudo php.composer-installer-install directory equals slash user slash local slash bin filename composer sudo php composer installer install dir here local bin and the filename composer Oh, there's a problem now. Great.

9:02AM

Alright, I created it. It's at docs.magentaconstruction.com

9:18AM

Alright, I've structured this a little bit so it's easier to see this stuff.

10:00AM

I'm still working on the ERP planning.

10:31AM

I've just got a call from Paul, got some phishing emails going around, so I'm looking at it right now to see what we can do to kind of mitigate them. I saw quite a few of them actually coming in, a lot of them were blocked, but there were still some that were coming through, so I'm just going to see if there's a way we can increase our filtering a little bit.

11:20AM

Working on the delivery outline, kind of hit a little bit of a roadblock here, on the main screen when the driver gets in the vehicle, how do we coordinate those deliveries? I know that, yeah, there's a way to logically look over what you're picking up and be like, oh, okay, I'm going to Mitten, I'm going to pick, I have three things, three deliveries per ship from Mitten, I'm going to pick it all up here while I'm here, instead of picking up from Mitten, going to the job site, going back to Mitten, going to the other job site, going back to Mitten, going to the third job site. I know that there's a logical way to do it, but I need to figure out how we can systematically do this, to order the driver in a certain way, so that they have to pick stuff up as they drop it off.

11:21AM

This becomes a little bit complicated because, yeah, it's very important, but in the system, it's very easy to do, like, hey, here's your first trip. Go to MIT and then go to Job Site 1. Then go back to MIT and then go to Job Site 2, but this increases travel time. And again, like, easier said than done, but trying to structure an ERP system and trying to make it very rigid so that they're, you know, taking the guesswork out of the deliveries. It's almost like they have to be labeled in pickups and drop-offs, almost like they need two columns or something or two lists, what to pick up and a checklist of stuff to pick up. Actually, that could be possible.

11:29AM

I'm just going to call Simon. I got off the phone with Vlad. I guess Simon's the only delivery driver we have right now. I'm just going to call him to try to understand how he does his deliveries.

12:02PM

I just got off the phone with Simon, I was on the phone with him for about half an hour since my last check-in anyways, and I was just trying to understand how he does his deliveries. I just found out actually that he's leaving tomorrow, so it's his last day. I found a lot of useful insights, but it really seems that there is a lot of work that we'll need to go into this. Just to coordinate the deliveries, there is a lot of common sense that is involved in it, so I'm just trying to figure out how logistics is going to do that quickly and efficiently anyways.

12:20PM

I'm calling Val while I'm working on this as well.

12:39PM

So I just got off the phone with Bell, and apparently there's a technician on the way there. Nobody called me, and they're going to need access into the building. So I don't know, I just sent a message to PJ to see if he can verify if somebody is on the way. I'm going to start getting ready to head out there, just in case it's true, I guess.

12:44PM

Alright, so apparently somebody's on their way right now and I gotta go.

2:23PM

I'm here. There's no bell technician yet. I'm going to get changed in my clothes. I'm going to run the rest of this fiber into our building anyways and I'll terminate that line so it's ready to go.

2:26PM

So yeah, while I'm here, I'm going to put the SFP into the switch. I'm going to disconnect the wire from Ramil's place, going to unscrew it from the side. I'm going to run it to drill a hole from the inside of the shed here, and I'm going to run it, run the cable into the switch over here, and then I'm going to terminate the fiber optic end on it so it's ready to go, hopefully. And yeah, so it should keep me busy until Bill shows up, if they show up.

7:11PM

I forgot to do an update, but I Just at the store now back in Barhaven, I just got here so I probably finished about like 30 minutes ago and Valve didn't end up showing up, but I did run the fiber wire into the building however, I Couldn't terminate the end. I don't know if that's just me being stupid or If I have the wrong connectors, so I took the cable home and I'm gonna play with it And see if I can I get working. I'm done for now. I finished
