So, I was supposed to have a meeting with this ERP guy at 10. Just looking through the logs, doesn't look like, uh... He logged into the ERP system, er, into the wiki system to even look at what I had created. Uh, I haven't heard back from him. Last we talked, he was scheduled for 10am, but maybe, uh, maybe he meant 11 with the time change stuff, uh, the time differences, maybe he got confused, but anyways, um, I'll be waiting here, um, working on the ERP views, because either way I'm going to need those planned out. I have a good template to work off of. And uh, this morning I had to deal with something with Chris, he messaged me at 7, 7-ish anyways, and sent me a screenshot that, uh, the job for 3676 Gordon Murdoch Road was not processed yet, and I looked into it. I guess he created an account under his own, uh, own way, again, he seems to be doing this a lot, um, just creating accounts willy-nilly, and anyways, um, I reached out to them, and it didn't take too much of my time, but it was like a 15-20 minutes kind of thing, um, and I got them to move his account over, um, and then they processed the payment and everything was good, now he's under the Magenta account. I did also ask them if they had any kind of single sign-on solution, which they do, but it's kind of like part of a premium plan, so I just want to talk with somebody, um, and I want to see, uh, with the sales rep, like, what the pricing is for that kind of plus plan. I am going to, um, I am going to kind of use, uh, scare tactic with them, just to see if they'll give us kind of like a free basic upgrade to do single sign-on, like, I'll pretty much tell them, like, hey, we need this stuff, because this is becoming out of control, and it's wasting a lot of time. We just need single sign-on, and if you can't deliver that, then we'll just choose a competitor to go with, which would be nice if I had somebody to delegate work to right now, because I would look into if there is, uh, any alternatives already that maybe do that. All right, so I just got off a meeting with him a little bit longer than I expected, but we did go over a lot of stuff. I guess I do have a lot more work that I have to do to prepare these views, which I'm going to work on while I was on the phone with him. Daniel called, so I'm just going to call LVM Tech back, and we'll do that. And then I have some stuff that I have to prepare for him. I have to prepare all the user roles, which I think I could just dump from Azure, and that won't be too hard, actually. I'll prepare that. And then a diagram for the email, which I think I might start off with first, actually, because that's kind of on top of my mind.

okay I just got off the phone with LVM tech doesn't look like they really have any good deals I mean have flat-out purchase prices but it might be better to go directly through Apple because they have monthly payment plans available I was told that I should call Bell to see if there's a payment plan I do have to get Bell I have to set up that portal as well their self-service portal so I'm gonna probably do it that's some point some point in time later on in the day right now I want to finish this email system structure just to kind of demonstrate what I'm kind of looking for here and brainstorm this and then get started on the list of departments and and groups kind of thing

All right, so today, I'm just finishing up. I was working in the last portion of the day on the different permission groups. I had that meeting with Jeffrey, who's going to be helping me do the ERPNex setup. I reviewed everything that I had prepared for him, or everything that he had requested and prepared for him in the last two weeks. And I guess there was more that he has to look over, so he's going to do that today as well. But we kind of got on the same page, and we kind of figured out a plan to move forward so that we can kind of hit the ground running right now. I do have quite a bit of documentation that he can use right now to get started. But I will need to create individual views as we'd want to see them. We have another meeting tomorrow morning, either 10 or 11. He's going to send me an invite, and we're going to review all of this information and hopefully narrow down what I have to work on. In the meantime, today, what I was working on is my kind of outline of how we want to transition from Microsoft email to ERPNex ticket system. And after we kind of discussed that in our meeting, it seems that we may be better off creating a custom app for the email. Ticket system may actually become a little bit too complicated for end users, but he did say that he already developed a custom one, so I want to take a look at that and see what he's already built and see if that kind of works for us. The other thing that he needed me to do is he needed me to work on the user groups. So for the last portion of the day, I was creating all the permission groups for the entire company, accounting, operations, human resources, everything from day to day to project management, commercial, sorry, project management for residential, commercial, new construction, estimating for same thing, residential, commercial, new construction, and then branching that out to roofing, siding for each of those.
