Alright, I'm heading back to the farm to try to figure out what's going on with this connection and why it's not connecting. I thought I had to do it from computer, not mobile phone, but I couldn't figure out. So it's one of three things. It's going to be either too much loss on the line, because I never checked the full loss on the line. I did check from section to section, but I got to check the full loss of the line, and it has to be below nine decibels, I guess, for relative decibels for these transceivers. I'm going to hook that up at the front and go to the back, test it. If it's less than nine, or close to nine, then I will remove an additional patch cable from Bell to get rid of one of the hops, which will make it a little bit stronger. And then I'll take the switch, I'll move it to the front. And when I do that, I'll try to plug it in directly with Ethernet, because the second thing that could be wrong with it is there could be a mismatch on the port speed. So switching the back may be an SFP+, and the one at the front's just a regular SFP. So I think the one in the back might be 10 gigabit. If it is, I think it's actually one gigabit, but I'll manually adopt it first, and then I'll manually set the speeds to full duplex 1000 base. And once it's adopted, I'll try connecting it with a smaller, shorter fiber optic cable that I have to see if that will work. If it does work, then I'll put it in the back and try to test it again. And if it doesn't work, then the SFPs are probably not compatible with each other, because there wouldn't be enough loss, or something wasn't plugged in. So maybe I'll clean the terminals as well, and I'll try that. Anyway, it's going to take off now. I have everything that I should need. I already let Mary know that I am coming. So let's start going. I just got one thing to load up in the car, and I'm on the way there. Oh, and I've got to help my buddy bring his ladder back, because we didn't have time to do that yesterday. So I just have to help him load it on his van,...

So I'm finishing now, did I turn the lights off actually? So I did, I came back, I checked why it wasn't working, and turns out it was just a crack in the fiber line, and I'm turning off the lights in the shop because I forgot to do that. My buddy came, picked up the ladder, and I finally figured out where the problem was, I got it all fixed up. I adopted all the systems, I adopted Rommel's as well, and I left it in his mailbox and I'm going to send him a quick message, but I'm going to punch out now because my buddy is still here, and I finished so it's just the way home. So I've got a bit of configuration to do on it, for some reason the IP addresses aren't being addressed, but I will take a look at that later tonight or tomorrow, but I've got to be somewhere soon, so I gotta jet.
